Why I Should Vent on Facebook without getting a Guilt Trip

So, here's the thing.  I think people take for granted that they have someone to come home to to vent about their day, whether it is a husband, wife, boyfriend, girlfriend, etc.  I moved 3,000 miles away from home to a place where I didn't know anyone.  I come home to an empty apartment and have no one to talk to about the good things or the bad things.  So if I want to use Facebook to vent about a really bad day, I think I should be able to do that without getting a bunch of crap from people.  If people don't like my status updates then they can hide me, but I am not going to censor myself when there is no reason to.  People from work are not on my Facebook and no one who is on my friends list even knows what city I live in let alone where I work so I doubt anything I say could possibly get back to them.  I don't use names, I don't post pictures.  Lets not nit-pic on someone who is no longer within your bubble - there are plenty more people that are living more "sinfully" than I am within your reach.
